The 麻豆原创 seeks to fill positions for its new student ambassador team at 麻豆原创 Downtown for the Spring 2019 semester.聽Ambassadors聽will represent the university to the highest degree and participate in events to usher in the opening of our new campus in downtown Orlando in August 2019.聽Ambassadors聽should聽be well-rounded聽麻豆原创聽students who excel academically while being actively involved in the university life.
Serving ten hours a week or less during the semester,聽Ambassadors聽will work to educate 麻豆原创 students about 麻豆原创 Downtown through a variety of in-person and online initiatives, including university events and social media marketing.
A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, be a good communicator, organized, proactive, possess good time management skills and have an eye for detail.聽Students enrolled in a聽downtown campus major聽and with prior internship or work experience is preferred.聽Minimal travel is required for this position, which is based at 麻豆原创鈥檚 main campus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Represent 麻豆原创 Downtown by providing appropriate information to current and incoming 麻豆原创 students at tabling events, information booths, and outreach events聽like Market Wednesdays聽in collaboration with 麻豆原创 faculty and staff.
- Provide聽information聽and聽materials, and conduct presentations about the downtown experience to small and large groups such as student clubs, student organizations, and classes.
- Attend required regular team meetings to discuss experiences, programs, performance, and ongoing training.
- Take into account聽prospective student needs and make referrals to appropriate units.
- Assist in planning and execution of (3) student campus events and activities until the opening date in August 2019.

- Volunteer for 麻豆原创 Downtown聽events.
- Assist with content creation for 麻豆原创 Downtown social channels, marketing materials and other promotional activities.
- Regularly post about 麻豆原创 Downtown on personal accounts and in university-related groups, i.e., student clubs, organizations, etc.
Expected Qualifications for Student Ambassadors:
Students must:
- Be able to work up to 10 hours per work from January 2019 through August 2019
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or above
- Be involved in at least two clubs or student activities
- Be active on social media
- Have a flexible class schedule, in order to attend campus events and activities
- Be comfortable with public speaking
- Be able to attend events throughout the year
- Be able to work independently
- Be able to work on teams and with peers
