Orange County Commissioners praised the 麻豆原创 Downtown project Tuesday and unanimously committed $3 million toward the campus.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think it\u2019d be great for downtown. I think it\u2019d be great for Parramore,\u201d said Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs.<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cWe\u2019re hoping that by showing united support here locally, that that will help give them the momentum to begin this initiative.”<\/p>\n
Orange County’s commitment comes just days before 麻豆原创 leaders are scheduled to update the Florida Board of Governors on the downtown campus and request its approval.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe firmly believe that the programs we\u2019ve identified to come downtown will be made better because of the environment. and the amenities of downtown will increase the educational opportunities for our students,\u201d said Fred Kittinger, 麻豆原创\u2019s Associate VP of University Relations, during his presentation to the Orange County Commission.<\/p>\n
