{"id":6602,"date":"2019-10-10T10:12:43","date_gmt":"2019-10-10T14:12:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/financial-aid\/?page_id=6602"},"modified":"2024-05-08T10:41:59","modified_gmt":"2024-05-08T14:41:59","slug":"first-generation-matching","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/financial-aid\/types\/grants\/first-generation-matching\/","title":{"rendered":"First Generation Matching Grant"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t\t<div class=\"container my-4 my-sm-5\"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\n<p class=\"lead\">The First Generation Matching Grant Program is a need-based financial aid program supported with both institutional and state funding.<\/p>\n<p>First Generation students can apply for various First Generation Matching Grants via <a href=\"https:\/\/ucf.academicworks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Access to Opportunities (A2O)<\/a>. By completing the general A2O application and then the general First Generation Matching Grant application, you will be reviewed for eligibility.<\/p>\n<p>Students will be notified they have been selected for a First Generation Matching Grant via an email to their 麻豆原创 Email account by the end of the Spring semester. The selected candidates will have an award posted on their Award Summary. Students will also need to complete the post-acceptance process through A2O.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"alert alert-info mt-4\"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\n<p class=\"mb-0\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> The majority of First Generation Matching Grants are not a renewable award; however, students may be considered each year if they meet the criteria and if funding is available.
