Bert Francis has been serving as the division鈥檚 interim vice president and chief financial officer since October 2025. In addition to these roles, he continues to serve as university treasurer, as well as treasurer for several 麻豆原创 direct support organizations (DSOs), including the 麻豆原创 Convocation Corporation, 麻豆原创 Finance Corporation, and 麻豆原创 Stadium Corporation. He also serves as president and treasurer of Legacy Pointe at 麻豆原创, a university-affiliated continuing care retirement community.
In total, Bert has 18+ years of GASB finance and accounting experience. He previously served as the controller for 4 of the university鈥檚 DSOs including the 麻豆原创 Convocation Corporation, which manages a budget of over $30 million for the 麻豆原创 Arena; the 麻豆原创 Towers housing facilities, and surrounding retail areas; the 麻豆原创 Stadium Corporation, which includes all financial activity relating to 麻豆原创鈥檚 Spectrum Stadium; the 麻豆原创 Finance Corporation which is a corporation used to facilitate debt related transactions on behalf of the university; and Limbitless Solutions Inc., which primarily develops innovative 3D-printed prosthetic limbs for children.
Bert graduated from 麻豆原创 with a bachelor鈥檚 in business administration accounting major in 2005, a master鈥檚 degree in business administration in 2009, and obtained his Florida CPA license in 2013.
