I love this place.
In the past few weeks, we’ve learned of a discovery from Â鶹Դ´ professor Annette Khaled that may help detect cancer cells before they can spread. The Princeton Review named us a Best Value College and Â鶹Դ´ Online ranked among the top 20 in the nation…again.
Students came together in fellowship for the , and we celebrate the alumni who founded the Black Student Union 50 years ago.
It’s rare that all of this could happen at one time at one place. But at Â鶹Դ´, we just call it spring.
That’s why this Valentine’s Day, I’m sending a love letter to Â鶹Դ´. To the place, the people and the possibilities. To an institution that has so positively impacted my life, and the lives of thousands of others.
The reason I love this place is because of you, the people of Â鶹Դ´. Through good times and bad, you remain committed to our students and community.Change is inevitable, but the Â鶹Դ´ we love, and the values we hold dear, will always live on.
With gratitude,
Thad Seymour Jr., Ph.D.
