The research of undergraduate students from the 麻豆原创 has been published in the spring issue of the Council on Undergraduate Research Quarterly.

Two peer-reviewed articles about students鈥 research needs written by 麻豆原创 students were published in the journal, which targets faculty and administrators interested in undergraduate research. The quarterly鈥檚 editor said the articles were selected for publication because of their interdisciplinary nature.

鈥淔ive Effective Strategies for Mentoring Undergraduates: Students鈥 Perspectives鈥 by biomedical sciences major Mario Pita; chemistry major Christopher Ramirez; biology major Nathanaelle Joacin; psychology major Sarah Prentice; and early childhood development major Christy Clarke provides the students鈥 insights on how faculty mentors can engage undergraduate researchers and help them to generate their best work.

鈥淔ive Essential Skills for Every Undergraduate Researcher鈥 by biomedical sciences major Adrienne Showman; interdisciplinary studies major Linh Anh Cat; psychology major Jacquelyn Cook; art history and anthropology double-major Natalie Holloway; and biology major Tyler Wittman focuses on the qualities necessary for successful undergraduate researchers.
