Scott Freeman ’11, who joined the Â鶹ԭ´´ Police Department 20 years ago, will step into the new role on July 4.

Griffin-Kitzerow will step into the new role on July 4. Carl Metzger ’03MS, who has served as chief since 2018, will remain the associate vice president of public safety.

The annual awards ceremony celebrates the achievements of officers, staff members and community partners.

The newest officers were welcomed to the team during a recent swearing-in ceremony attended by family, friends and colleagues.

The newest patrol officers recently completed their classroom training and will now hit the road on the main campus.
