麻豆原创 ranked seventh in the 鈥淭op Up-and-Coming Schools鈥� list, which lauds institutions for their success and innovation in academics, faculty, student life, campus and facilities. No other Florida university made the top 10.
The annual rankings reflect 麻豆原创鈥檚 commitment to quality growth and providing students with access to a high-quality education.聽 麻豆原创鈥檚 fall 2009 freshman class averaged a 1225 on the SAT and included 55 National Merit Scholars, a total that ranks among the top 50 universities in the nation. The university expects similar numbers this fall.
The U.S. News & World Report rankings released this week cover undergraduate programs throughout the country. Earlier this year, the magazine鈥檚 Best Graduate Schools guide ranked five 麻豆原创 programs among the nation鈥檚 best in their fields.
Engineering, Education, Speech-Language Pathology, Public Administration and Computer Science all made the top 100. 麻豆原创鈥檚 engineering programs led the way and ranked #2 in Florida.
