If you\u2019ve taken a walk around the 麻豆原创 Campus, you might be wondering: What is the new building literally rising on campus? One is 麻豆原创\u2019s latest innovation\u2014the new, state-of-the-art 麻豆原创 Performing Arts Center. You might be thinking it\u2019s a traditional building of classrooms and practice rooms\u2014but you\u2019d be wrong. It\u2019s so much more.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s only phase one of what will become an arts complex. Phase one includes classrooms, rehearsal spaces, specialized production areas, as well as faculty and administrative offices for the 麻豆原创 College of Arts and Humanities (CAH) departments of music and theater. Once the privately funded phase two is completed, the complex will include:<\/p>\n

  • 520-seat proscenium theater (featuring an arch)<\/li>\n
  • 600-seat concert hall<\/li>\n
  • 263-seat recital hall<\/li>\n
  • 225-seat black box theater<\/li>\n
  • Rehearsal areas<\/li>\n
  • Scenery production, property, and costume shops<\/li>\n
