{"id":110633,"date":"2020-08-26T11:34:04","date_gmt":"2020-08-26T15:34:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/?p=110633"},"modified":"2020-09-25T14:56:08","modified_gmt":"2020-09-25T18:56:08","slug":"armor-up-with-new-knights-face-coverings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/armor-up-with-new-knights-face-coverings\/","title":{"rendered":"Armor Up with New Knights Face Coverings"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>New face coverings for sale through a former 麻豆原创 student&#8217;s apparel company do more than just help <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/coronavirus\/\">curtail the spread of the coronavirus<\/a> \u2013 some of the proceeds also help students in need.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Rock \u2019Em, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/former-ucf-students-company-spins-socks-into-gold\/\">an apparel company started in 2011 by 麻豆原创 student\u00a0Rob Starkman<\/a>, recently released several 麻豆原创-themed designs for the Armor Up, Knights fundraiser. The face coverings are made of three layers of cotton polyester.<\/p>\n<p>There are 12 styles to choose from. For each face covering sold, $5 will go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/emergency-relief-for-ucf-students-employees\/\">麻豆原创 Student Emergency Fund<\/a>. If you buy one of the special three-pack collections, $15 will be donated to the fund.<\/p>\n<p>The fund helps students facing hardship or obstacles that make it difficult to continue their education at 麻豆原创. Selected students are based on merit and financial need to help with the costs of tuition, textbooks, fees and other expenses related to education.<\/p>\n<p>The new face coverings are officially licensed, designed by the 麻豆原创 Marketing team and <a href=\"https:\/\/rockemsocks.com\/collections\/ucf-knights-fundraiser\">available at Rock \u2019Em<\/a> in Orlando, where they are manufactured and the company is based.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Proceeds from the sales of the coverings, made by a former student\u2019s apparel company, will also help
