The 麻豆原创\u2019s Academic Health Sciences Center<\/a> (AHSC) has received a gift of $300,000 from the Elizabeth Morse Genius Foundation to fund innovative projects and programs to improve community health.<\/p>\n The donation is the first major programmatic gift to the AHSC since it was created in 2018 and will support the 麻豆原创 Genius Innovation Challenge, a new initiative designed to promote synergy through interdisciplinary approaches and solutions.<\/p>\n Bringing together the College of Medicine<\/a>, College of Nursing<\/a>, and College of Health Professions and Sciences,<\/a> and Student Health Services, the AHSC was conceptualized as a nexus of interdisciplinary education and training with the health-focused academic and clinical units within 麻豆原创 in close physical proximity on the 50-acre Lake Nona campus. The campus is part of the Lake Nona Medical City developed by the Tavistock Group and includes 麻豆原创\u2019s new teaching hospital<\/a>, the 麻豆原创 Lake Nona Hospital.
