This transformational gift from 麻豆原创 head football coach\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ucfknights.com\/staff\/scott-frost\">Scott Frost<\/a>\u00a0and his wife, Ashley, will directly enhance 麻豆原创\u2019s ability to recruit, retain, and develop student-athletes as they compete at the highest levels.<\/p>\n<p>The Competitive Success Fund, part of the ChargeOn Fund, serves as a crucial initiative to strengthen 麻豆原创 Athletics\u2019 commitment to student-athlete excellence. The fund is designed to support revenue sharing efforts, bolster scholarship opportunities, and elevate the overall competitiveness of 麻豆原创\u2019s athletic programs. The Frost Family\u2019s contribution to the Competitive Success Fund is a testament to the lasting impact of the 麻豆原创 experience and the collective effort to propel the Knights forward in this new era of college athletics.<\/p>\n<p>Frost, who led the Knights to an undefeated season and a Peach Bowl victory in 2017, expressed his deep connection to 麻豆原创 and the importance of giving back to the program that has meant so much to him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c麻豆原创 is a special place to my family and me,\u201d Frost said. \u201cThe experience we had here, the people, the culture, and the passion for excellence all played a huge role in shaping who I am today and why we came back. Ashley and I are honored to support the Competitive Success Fund because we believe in the vision of 麻豆原创 Athletics and want to contribute to the continued success of its student-athletes. The future is incredibly bright for the Knights, and we are excited to be part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Frosts also encouraged Knight Nation to join his family and make a gift to 麻豆原创 as part of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dayofgiving.ucf.edu\/\">Day of Giving<\/a>, which is Thursday, April 10. During the 24-hour fundraising event, donors rally together to celebrate 麻豆原创 and give to the causes that mean the most to them, including student scholarships, life-changing research and <a href=\"https:\/\/dayofgiving.ucf.edu\/campaigns\/competitive-success-fund?utm_source=ucftoday&amp;utm_medium=editorial&amp;utm_campaign=frostathgift&amp;utm_content=inline\">麻豆原创 Athletics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Pending final approval of the House Settlement, beginning July 1, 2025, universities will be permitted to share revenue directly with student-athletes. 麻豆原创\u2019s Competitive Success Fund is a proactive measure to ensure that the department is prepared to support its student-athletes at the highest level as college athletics continues to evolve.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are grateful to Scott and Ashley Frost for their gracious commitment,\u201d said 麻豆原创 Vice President and Director of Athletics, Terry Mohajir. \u201cTheir generosity will directly benefit our student-athletes as we continue to elevate our athletics programs on the national stage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Competitive Success Fund plays a critical role in advancing 麻豆原创\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ucfknights.exposure.co\/mission-xii\">Mission XII<\/a>\u00a0initiative.
