The NorthStar Summit Leadership Conference is KoRT’s annual leadership conference. The conference challenged student leaders to reach new heights\u00a0for themselves and their organizations by discussing a range of topics that every leader should know.<\/p>\n
This year the Keynote Speaker was the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Tony Waldrop. The provost first asked the audience what are the good and bad qualities of a leader. He then presented different situations to each group of students and asked them to resolve the issue at hand. The interaction that the provost exerted towards the students was very well received.<\/p>\n
\u201cI came here with a leadership foundation but this has really helped me build on it,\u201d said Lauren Evans, a sophomore majoring in Political Science.<\/p>\n
KoRT offers student organizations and student leaders the opportunities to constantly improve themselves and their organizations.
