His product helps students prepare for exams more effectively through the use of visual and SMS-based representations of the study material.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately 100 attendees viewed the event which was hosted by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, located in the College of Business Administration.<\/p>\n<p>Glenn, along with the three other student entrepreneur groups that made it to the Joust finals, had 15 minutes to present their company to the judges, followed by a 10-minute question and answer session.<\/p>\n<p>Other winners included:<\/p>\n<li>Second Place ($5,000):\u00a0<strong>Daniel Seeff<\/strong> for his product\u00a0<em>Free In A Box<\/em>, a marketing conduit, that links businesses directly to their student target market by offering free promotional materials.<\/li>\n<li>Third Place ($3,000):\u00a0<strong>Nick Frazier<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Stephanie Gibbs<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Cesar Abueg<\/strong> for their product\u00a0<em>Oh My Groceries<\/em>, a web-based service that provides subscribers with a weekly grocery list that combines local grocers\u2019 specials with current manufacturers\u2019 coupons to provide maximum savings.<\/li>\n<li>Fourth Place ($2,000):\u00a0<strong>Matt Schaefer<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Kyle Roach<\/strong> for\u00a0<em>Dave&#8217;s Market<\/em>, a tribute to\u00a0<strong>David Schaefer<\/strong>, a 麻豆原创 student who was killed in an automobile accident this past October. The mission of this project is to provide a well thought out and profitable restaurant that incorporates David\u2019s passion for cuisine, as well as good times with good friends.<\/li>\n<p>Judges of the event included:\u00a0<strong>Tom Bland<\/strong>, \u201975 and \u201979;\u00a0<strong>Steven Felkowitz<\/strong>, \u201979;\u00a0<strong>Paul Gregg<\/strong>, \u201974 and \u201976;\u00a0<strong>Ron Pizzuti<\/strong>;\u00a0<strong>Mark Plaumann<\/strong>, \u201974 and \u201979, and\u00a0<strong>Marilyn Wilson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The sponsor of the event was\u00a0<strong>Steven Felkowitz<\/strong>, \u201979.
