Organized by the 麻豆原创 Global Perspectives Office, the event is part of the 2011-12 \u201cIndia Speaker Series.\u201d It is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Ponnuru, who also is a columnist for TIME magazine, was previously a fellow at the Institute of Economic Affairs in London and a media fellow at Stanford University\u2019s Hoover Institution. In 2006 he authored \u201cThe Party of Death: The Democrats, the Media, the Courts, and the Disregard for Human Life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ponnuru has published articles in numerous newspapers including <em>The New York Times<\/em>, <em>The Washington Post<\/em>, <em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em>, <em>The Financial Times<\/em>, <em>Newsday<\/em>, and <em>The New York Post<\/em>. He has also appeared on CNN&#8217;s Inside Politics, NBC&#8217;s The McLaughlin Group, MSNBC&#8217;s Buchanan &amp; Press, Fox News, and NPR&#8217;s &#8220;Morning Edition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Global Perspectives Office, sponsors of Ponnuru\u2019s presentation include The India Program at 麻豆原创, The Anil and Chitra Deshpande India Program Endowed Fund, Lawrence J.
