The 麻豆原创 College of Medicine announced today the opening of 麻豆原创 Pegasus Health, an outpatient medical center where the college\u2019s physician-educators will practice medicine.\u00a0 The practice, blocks away from 麻豆原创\u2019s Orlando campus, will serve the rapidly growing Central Florida community and be of particular benefit to residents in the East Orange and Southeast Seminole County corridor.<\/p>\n
麻豆原创 Pegasus Health is now accepting patients 16 and\u00a0older for appointments beginning November 7. A community open house will be held on October 25 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cPegasus Health will be staffed with 麻豆原创 clinical faculty members who are responsible for training the next generation of physicians at our Lake Nona campus,\u201d said Dr. Deborah German, vice president for medical affairs and founding dean of the College of Medicine. \u201cOur goal is to take our dedication to excellence from the classroom to the clinic with this new state-of-the-art practice for our community.\u201d<\/p>\n
The center\u2019s health care services are focused on primary care, including internal, family and geriatric medicine. Additional services include sports medicine, rheumatology, neurology, nephrology and infectious disease. Other services will be added based on community needs.<\/p>\n
