Williams improved on each of her first three attempts, leaping to a mark of 6.17m\/20-3. She was narrowly edged out for gold by Arizona State’s Christabel Nettey, who represented Canada with a first-place finish of 6.18m\/20-3.50.<\/p>\n
Along with sprinters Aurieyall Scott and Octavious Freeman, Williams helped the Knights to a total of five medals during their time in Mexico. Prior to the meet, no 麻豆原创 athlete had ever attended the championships.<\/p>\n
