Graham has dedicated 38 years of his life to public service, including 12 years in the Florida\u00a0Legislature. As governor and senator,\u00a0Graham was a centrist, committed to bringing his colleagues together behind\u00a0programs that served the broadest public interest.<\/p>\n
Florida residents recognized his service when they gave him an 83% approval rate when he concluded\u00a0eight years as Governor.<\/p>\n
Graham is recognized for his leadership on issues ranging from education,\u00a0economic development, health care and environmental preservation to his 10 years of service on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence \u2014 including\u00a018 months as chairman in 2001\u20132002.<\/p>\n
Following the release of the joint\u00a0inquiry\u2019s final report regarding Iraq in July 2003, Graham steadfastly advocated\u00a0reform of the intelligence community and sponsored legislation to bring about\u00a0needed changes. In the fall of 2004, Graham authored \u201cIntelligence\u00a0Matters.\u201d<\/p>\n
