The opportunity to create the cards will be offered during the facility\u2019s periodic open house on Thursday, Feb. 7, when visitors can see the downtown Orlando fine-art research center and some of the limited-edition prints, artist books, and art objects by internationally known artists that have been printed by the non-profit publisher.<\/p>\n
Flying Horse staffers also will demonstrate the letterpress process, which prints an image from an inked, raised surface when paper is impressed on the surface.<\/p>\n
The Letterpress Happy Hour\u2014Valentine\u2019s Day Edition <\/em>is free. Those who want to make the customized cards can print five cards for $10. The cards can have up to 25 characters printed on a preset Valentine\u2019s design.<\/em><\/p>\n The open house is 6 to 9 p.m. at the 麻豆原创 Center for Emerging Media, 500 W.
