{"id":53340,"date":"2013-09-26T16:26:03","date_gmt":"2013-09-26T20:26:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/?p=53340"},"modified":"2013-09-27T09:54:42","modified_gmt":"2013-09-27T13:54:42","slug":"local-morning-show-coaches-future-broadcasters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/local-morning-show-coaches-future-broadcasters\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Morning Show Coaches Future Broadcasters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nicholson School of Communication broadcast journalism students were given the opportunity to watch Fox 35 anchors John Brown and Amy Kaufeldt film segments that will be used during the \u201cGood Day\u201d live broadcast from 麻豆原创 on Friday, Sept. 27.\u00a0\u00a0 Following the filming, Brown and Kaufeldt offered practical tips and advice for the student reporters.<\/p>\n<p>Radio-Television area coordinator Dr. Tim Brown was also on set for the interactive segment.\u00a0 He said, \u201cWe have great relationships with all of the stations in town, and certainly Fox 35 is right there as one of the most prominent. Aside from their generous gift of a full news set a few years ago, they take a lot of time to work with our students; you could tell that, even though they were here on site working, they were very interested in helping our students in any way they could-\u00a0word choice for stories, new ways of looking at a story, tips on anchoring and reporting, even \u2018down the road\u2019 career advice.
