Over 60 employers from the hospitality and tourism industry were on hand to discuss full-time, part-time and internship opportunities with students majoring in hospitality management, restaurant management and event management.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is an incredible opportunity for employers to connect with a highly-targeted audience of students who are truly invested in pursuing careers in the hospitality industry,&#8221; said Bradley Loomis, assistant director of employer relations for 麻豆原创 Career Services at Rosen College.<\/p>\n<p>Students plan and execute the Career Fair every semester as a class project, handling every aspect of the event, including the theme, decor, marketing, promotion and lunch menu.\u00a0 The Spring 2014 Career Fair was safari-themed, anchored by the tagline,\u00a0 &#8220;Where Your Adventure Begins.&#8221; In addition to applying the skills and techniques learned in class to a real-life event, students get an unparalleled opportunity to connect with the industry&#8217;s top companies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe students have the opportunity to network, practice their elevator speech and become connected to industry professionals all under one roof,&#8221; said <a href=\"https:\/\/hospitality.ucf.edu\/faculty-and-staff\/\" target=\"_blank\">Premila Whitney<\/a>, an instructor at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management, who teaches the Event Management class in which students plan and execute the Career Fair. &#8220;It\u2019s almost like a one-stop shop of employers that, to my knowledge, \u00a0the students would not be able to get otherwise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Employers who attended the Spring 2014 Career Fair include:<\/p>\n<p>4 Rivers Smokehouse<\/p>\n<p>Applebee\u2019s<\/p>\n<p>Aramark<\/p>\n<p>Blue Ridge Restaurant Group<\/p>\n<p>Brinker International<\/p>\n<p>Buena Vista Palace and Spa<\/p>\n<p>Caribe Royale<\/p>\n<p>Cheddar\u2019s<\/p>\n<p>Cracker Barrel<\/p>\n<p>Cruise Career Partners<\/p>\n<p>Darden<\/p>\n<p>Dignity Memorial<\/p>\n<p>Disney Destinations<\/p>\n<p>Disney Internships and Programs<\/p>\n<p>Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at Seaworld<\/p>\n<p>Ecolab<\/p>\n<p>Enterprise Holdings<\/p>\n<p>Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts<\/p>\n<p>Frenchman\u2019s Creek Beach and Country Club<\/p>\n<p>Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp.
