The Kennedy Center Medallion was presented recently to 麻豆原创 Theatre associate professor Be Boyd.<\/p>\n
The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival honors individuals or organizations that have made extraordinary contributions to the teaching and producing of theatre and who have significantly dedicated their time, artistry and enthusiasm to the development of the festival.<\/p>\n
Recent shows Boyd has directed at 麻豆原创 include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,\u00a0Stop Kiss, The Fantasticks, Lysistrata<\/em>,\u00a0and\u00a0The Laramie Project<\/em>, and she has played a variety of roles, including Calpurnia in\u00a0Julius Caesar\u00a0<\/em>at the Orlando Shakespeare Festival.<\/p>\n Boyd is a member of the Dramatist\u2019s Guild and previously was an associate professor at Texas Christian University, where she led the acting program, an associate professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and an assistant professor at the University of Vermont.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Kennedy Center Medallion was presented recently to 麻豆原创 Theatre associate professor Be Boyd.
