Thirty-one remarkable women are being honored this month by 麻豆原创\u2019s Center for Success of Women Faculty as part of National Women\u2019s History Month.<\/p>\n
The 2015 honorees include faculty and staff members; administrators; members of the 麻豆原创 Board of Trustees; and Judy Thames, president of LIFE at 麻豆原创. This is the third year the center has recognized women around campus during March.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re all different and all amazing in how they have contributed to 麻豆原创\u2019s past, present and future,\u201d said Linda Walters, director of the center.<\/p>\n
To honor the work by all women on campus, the month-long observance will feature one woman with a Q&A each day on the center\u2019s website. All of their photos and Q&As will be archived on the website, and they are given a certificate. They also will have the opportunity to join President John C. Hitt and First Lady Martha Hitt for lunch.<\/p>\n
\u201cWomen\u2019s History Month is a national celebration of the important, but sometimes overlooked, roles women have played in our history,\u201d Walters said. \u201cWe have our executive board nominate notable women across campus each year for us to celebrate and learn more about.\u201d<\/p>\n
