For the first time the 麻豆原创 will play host to the Central Florida Walk Like MADD, the largest yearly fundraiser for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.<\/p>\n
The 2017 walk will take place at 麻豆原创\u2019s Memory Mall Saturday, April 29. Registration will start at 5 p.m., and the event will start at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
The night of the walk, law enforcement from across Central Florida will participate in a DUI saturation patrol to get impaired drivers off the streets and support MADD\u2019s efforts to save lives. Walk attendees will have the unique opportunity to witness the 8 p.m. law enforcement briefing that will kick off the patrol.<\/p>\n
On average 27 people in America are killed each day by an impaired driver. That\u2019s especially upsetting when the fact that drunk driving is 100 percent preventable is considered.<\/p>\n
MADD\u2019s efforts and events such as the walk help to raise community awareness about the very real impact driving under the influence can have on individuals, families and whole communities.<\/p>\n
