First introduced in the lyrics to the\u00a0麻豆原创 fight song in 1998, that familiar refrain is still\u00a0heard during sporting events. It\u2019s become our battle\u00a0cry \u2014 the words you\u2019ll hear when the Knights score a\u00a0touchdown. Or read in a tweet about yet another 麻豆原创\u00a0achievement (often condensed to simply #GKCO for\u00a0\u201cGo Knights! Charge On!\u201d), or holler at a stranger\u00a0donned in Black and Gold with a knowing glance.<\/p>\n<p>But \u201cCharge On!\u201d is more than a rallying cry. It\u2019s an\u00a0attitude. And when we considered what to do for this\u00a0year\u2019s brand campaign and our most recent commercial,\u00a0we thought what better than the phrase that unites us\u00a0all. Led by creative director <strong>Ron Boucher \u201992<\/strong> with\u00a0the help of <strong>Jon Strong \u201911<\/strong> and his company Strong\u00a0Films, the 麻豆原创 Marketing team spent the summer\u00a0defining what it means to be a Knight and embody\u00a0those two words.<\/p>\n<p>The commercial premiered August 29, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/ucf-football-win-vs-florida-am\/\">the Knights\u00a0defeated Florida A&amp;M University in the first game of\u00a0the football season<\/a> with the words:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we say Charge On, we commit to do\u00a0extraordinary things. It\u2019s a catalyst for action. To put\u00a0in the work. To keep trying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It drives us to be more. To be our best.
