BIOGRAPHY:
Erin received her BSc degrees in Biology and Environmental Science from Florida State University in 2021. During her time at Florida State, Erin completed an Honors in the Major research project on the effects of intertidal oyster reef shell clusters on sediment biogeochemistry.

RESEARCH:
Erin’s research is focused on nutrient cycling in coastal systems, primarily focusing on the removal of organic nitrogen from our waterways. She is currently investigating the effects of vegetation shifts, soil texture, and hydrology on denitrification and the formation of mineral-associations.
